Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) is created to capitalize on the opportunity of the convergence of cloud and services. As our customers deploy 5G, our aim is to accelerate the optimization and automation of increasingly complex networks, by transforming to cloud native software and services. This, in turn, will enable them to provide more competitive services, at a faster pace. BCSS combines extensive capabilities in R&D, services, software, lifecycle management and AI to build a competitive position and secure the success of our customers. Our more than 30 000 Cloud Software and Services employees support global customers across 180 geographies!
We are part of the Solution Area Core Networks defining the SA Services delivery strategy across multiple offering streams and shaping end to end services delivery management. The unit is accountable to define services business plan, budget plan and profitability plan for the SA including formal business decision governance.
Our unit is primarily focusing on the Services Delivery strategy influencing the market uptake and new technologies' adoption.
Now we are looking for Services Portfolio Development Manager who will help sharpen and innovate services portfolio meeting our customer business activities and daily dynamic changes in delivering state of the art solutions. The successful candidate will need to be mature and passionate leader, capable of making an impact influencing, supporting, and driving services portfolio strategic choices, operating in an environment of new and fast-moving technologies and business shifts.
What you will do
Develop and Manage the services portfolio strategy for the Solution Area.
Set the services portfolio strategic choices for the Solution Area.
Conduct portfolio reviews and portfolio performance analysis.
Drive portfolio rationalization.
Manage alignment across Solution Areas and Business Areas on services strategic portfolio topics.
Ensure Ericsson-wide portfolio initiatives are well anchored with SA Core Networks.
Accountable creating and life cycle SA Core networks services portfolio.
Accountable to drive profitability in Services.
Create, collaborate, participate in different programs targeting Industrialization and Automation.
Work closely with a product management for different 4G and 5G products as well as automation specialized team(s) in different organization.
Responsible to create well spread and structured services portfolio to the Ericsson Market Area.
Support strategic engagements with customers on C-level for validation and external feedback.
Drive continuous improvements.
Strategize our roadmap communication.
You will bring
A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent, MBA is an advantage but not required.
Extensive experience in Core & cloud solution delivery is a MUST (Solution Architect, Solution Manager, Portfolio manager profiles).
Broad Technical competence in Core Networks, Cloud, OSS and BSS domains (products & services).
Cloud Expertise is a plus.
5G Core Delivery project is a plus.
Good business and financial understanding
Ability to influence internal and external partners, BA/GF/MA stakeholder and customer C-level.
Experience in product and/or portfolio management is a plus.
Experience in project management is a plus.
Experience in sales is a plus.
Outstanding communication skills and ability to build networks.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to see the big picture and connect the dots.
