Join Thinfilm's innovative team as a Service Technician. As a Service Technician, you will provide service to the daily operations of respective equipment to ensure the systems are operating at peak performance at all times. You will also support the Technology Development and Engineering teams regarding new equipment and changes to existing equipment as well as finding good solutions for new facility requirements. You will coordinate services with external service providers as well as manage recycling of chemicals and various items.
You are a hands-on and detail-oriented team player with significant technical and practical knowledge and provide both service and repair of equipment.
We expect you to:
• Have at least 5 years of experience working in a production environment
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
• Have a technical base education or relevant work experience
• Have a careful approach with a natural feeling to work structure
• Effectively manage time and resources to control costs and meet commitments
• Have the ability to troubleshoot systems effectively
• Be a team player with a great sense of service
• To define and calculate utility needs and requirements
• To design modifications or adaptions to tools and facilities
• In time of high work load you must be able to work flexible hours
It would be desirable if you also:
• Have experience of working in the maintenance management system Pirana
• Have experience of working with ISO9000
