Middleware Services is one group within Volvo Cars Group IT. Our group channels demand from various business areas and interacts on a daily basis with both business and IT stakeholders to capture today's and tomorrow's needs. The group consists of three services; Application Integration, Application Server, and Business Process Management System.
Volvo Cars Group IT is undergoing a significant transformation in which Middleware Services plays an important role, contributing to our Technical Transformation and journey towards a flexible, scalable and future proven environment.
We are now looking for a Service Manager for Application Integration Services with strategic, technical, managerial and process skills that can contribute to our exiting journey towards a world class service.
Main responsibilities
In the role of Service Manager for the Application Integration Service you are responsible for the operation, development and support of the service and its offerings. You lead day to day activities to support and ensure high quality of delivery and operations.
You will work in close cooperation with the Service Owner to develop the service for future needs.
Required qualifications
At least 5 years experience of software and integration development
University degree or equivalent experience
Experience in leading others
Knowledge about integration development and software development in general
Understand and know the upcoming trends in integration related development
Meritorious
Experience with process development
Experience with project management
Experience with suppliers and subcontractors, especially with off shore deliveries
Personal qualities
