Job responsibilities
• Be an independent key member of the Technical Service team working with the MAN 2 and 4-stroke products portfolio.Execute daily service on board vessels or components overhaul in our local workshop in close cooperation with our Work Shop Foreman and Service Manager..Manage to write technically advanced service reports and recommendations for improvements of engine performance and availability. Provide highly qualified technical support to our customers as well as within the internal organization.Travel may be required to various locations on short notice. Approximately 100 travel days per year
Qualifications
Experience from the marine industry including overhauling, maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of marine diesel engines, gen-sets and turbochargers
• Genuine competence, experience and interest in working in the marine industry
• A passion for customer care and exceeding their expectations.
• Excellent English communication skills both verbally and written. English is the official group site within MAN Diesel & Turbo.
