The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in this position will be responsible for end to end application management services to be delivered according to agreement for multiple application portfolios. In the scope is a set of applications, including related infrastructure deliveries and the delivery will involve resources and services from different Volvo IT functions and sites.

As a SDM for this portfolio you will be responsible for the key applications in scope; Volvo Sales System (VSS), Inquiry Manager (IM), ProBuilder, Global Truck Configurator, Volvo Truck Order Manager, ao.
The responsibility will also include alignment and coordination with ongoing TSP- program that will exist for 2-3 more years with a challenging global setup with many different cross functional and cross entities dialogue.

The applications in the portfolios are based on Microsoft technology .NET/C#, tight integrated with other applications supporting the TSP process.

The delivery is structured in a global team with resources in Gothenburg, Bangalore (India), Tianjin (China). Maintenance and new development is mainly delivered from India, 2nd level application support is delivered from China.

One of the initial tasks for you as SDM will be to continue to drive the work to coordinate and define how we will match and respond to the final portfolio delivery setup together with GT EMEA with support from the TSP Delivery Improvement Program.

Your Profile:
You have broad IT background and long experience from handling deliveries to customers. You have good leadership skills and feel comfortable in using them when aiming for cost, quality, efficiency and time targets. You like structure and are solution oriented with a holistic view always aiming for customer satisfaction. You also have a very strong social competence and are perceived as service minded.

Demonstrated experience of working as Senior Service Delivery Manager during the major part of the last 2-3 years.

Demonstrated achievement of results from a customer and team perspective

Manage Maintenance assignments with a significant yearly budget

Manage Maintenance assignments where the demand side is located on multiple sites

Experience of managing a global assignment with a sourcing component

Experience from working with stakeholders on senior line manager level or equivalent

Demonstrated experience of leading complex business critical assignments

General qualifications and skills:

Academic qualifications within the relevant field

Broad IT background

Experience from leading critical and complex global application management deliveries

Proven leadership and management skills

Capacity to execute against set targets

Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously improve deliveries

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain a human network

Experience from work in close customer/ account teams

Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
