We're now searching for a Senior Writer to join the studio. Your job will be to help create a cohesive and intriguing narrative for our upcoming projects. Together with the rest of the narrative team, you?ll craft compelling mission narratives, character arcs and story beats. You will also write dialogue and content for opt-in narrative features. This is a full time position and will require relocation to Malmö, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
Create narrative conceits for main and side missions.
Write scripted and systemic dialogue.
Help flesh out character arcs and main story beats together with the Lead Writer.
Keep up-to-date on current market and game narrative trends.
May also include possible travel to oversee voice recording and performance capture.
Our ideal candidate
We're looking for experienced writers who are passionate about games and enjoy experimenting with game narrative to create new and exciting experiences. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated and used to working in a fast paced, changing environment. Candidates should also enjoy collaborating with developers across various disciplines.
Skills and experience
Fluent in English
Preferably 5+ years of game development experience in a narrative- or design-oriented role, 1 shipped game is a big plus
A passion for video games and narrative
Strong ability to work with a team and give and take feedback accordingly
