About the role
Connectivity is a global department within GTT Vehicle Technology, established to secure connected vehicles supporting the increasing demand for connected services and in-vehicle entertainment functions, within the Volvo Group. Connectivity is a key enabler for Fleet Management, Uptime Services, and advanced vehicle services, as driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. The telematics and entertainment components build a global platform utilized by the brands within the Volvo Group.
Due to our expansive phase, we are now looking for a Senior Wireless Engineer with excellent technical expertise who wants to join our collaborative and passionate team. We are looking for you...

Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education
2-5 years' experience in electronics design and/or passive and active component requirements
Knowledge and experience in RF & Antennas development process and methodology, both from component perspective and system performance
RX/TX chain optimization, in terms of link budget, throughput, sensitivity, linearity, etc.
Antenna measurements and Electronics (RF) test and verification: Both manual and automatic, including measurement equipment programming, scripting and data analysis, and presentation
Electromagnetic simulations experience in Momentum/Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, Microwave Office, FEKO, etc.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Additionally, we highly value the experience in all types of instruments used for radio tests, microwave instruments used for microwave design and test work, such as Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Spectrum Analyzer (SA).
