You will work with the next generation of our Massgate technology. Massgate is our system for connecting thousands of players in online games as well as functionality to enhance the player's online experience.
The responsibility of the Senior Web Engineer is to build the web-based community system for Massgate in collaboration with the other members of the team, to make sure that the out-of-the-game community matches its counterpart - the in-game community.
Your task is to work on the front and back ends of the web community, including public pages as well as backend administrative tools for maintaining and monitoring the system. You will be creating and/or customizing community tools as well as creating tools for customer relationship management.
This interface will be used by both Engineers and Community Managers for Customer Relations Management and systems monitoring. You will be assisting our Lead Software Engineer in coaching and managing the team as well as ensuring that the members of the management team are updated on the work in progress.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position - where you will have followed through several large projects from concept and planning to implementation and delivery. This will in turn have resulted in excellent project managing skills - working towards deadlines with a strong focus on quality and delivery within set time limits. It is important that you are a service minded individual with a sense for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

• HTML/CSS (Firefox and Internet Explorer compatible)
