Position Summary

Business Area Digital Services develops software-based solutions to support Ericsson's customers to transform their network, enable and deliver multi-services to their customer's customers. There, the user experience (UX) is recognized and established as an important part of our organization's business and strategy.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Visual Designer to join our UX team of visual/interaction designers and user researchers. You will work with the entire team to create the wow-effect visual designs. You will delight users with designs that inspire, engage and excite them. Together with the Ericsson Brand designers, you will also develop, manage and refine a new visual language to be used by all our products.

You have at least 5 years of visual design experience with Web applications, desktop, and mobile applications. You are familiar with user-centered design processes and you possess excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of graphic and animation design.

The position is placed in Kista (Stockholm), Sweden. You will report to the head of BICP UX Design and work closely with both development units and product managers to set the directions of our world-class software products.

Responsibilities:
• Create stunning visual designs for our OSS-BSS product portfolio.
• Create digital brand and identity assets as required by the projects.
• Produce animation/motion solutions and demos.
• Give data meaning through information visualization.
• Deliver light weighed style guides and brand guidelines to supplement prototypes for our implementation partners.
• Evangelize and contribute to evolving our branding, user-centered design ways of working, new interface guidelines and design patterns

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• At least BA in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Communication Design, Arts or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of user interface and visual design experience with Web applications, desktop, and mobile applications
• Creativity and great attention to details
• Proficiency of creating visual designs (including data visualizations) and animations with appropriate software toolbox
• Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, JustInMind, Axure
• HTML/CSS knowledge and understanding of web development is a plus
• Experience with agile development
• Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
• Strong skills in learning and understanding complex business technologies
• Ability to initiate and lead new activities, and to work independently, as well as in a team
• Must be able to provide an online portfolio of UX projects (or samples of preview work) - to which you have made a significant contribution - that demonstrates ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision.
