About the job:
North net connect is looking for a Senior Integration & Support Engineer to our service delivery team. You will have a central role in the value chain from order through project delivery to support. Our mission is to produce and implement the best network solutions. As a member of our small delivery team, you will use your technical and analytical skills, as well as your interpersonal and communication skills when working with our customers within telecom.
This job includes:
As an Integration & support engineer you will have the technical responsibility to configure our business and performance-critical systems and make them ready for operation for our clients. After the project delivery, you provide support to our clients.
Project delivery tasks:
• System configuration of BSS, MSS, IMS nodes as well as integration to 3rd party nodes
• Perform customer project communication regarding system configuration issues i.e. be the technical spokesperson internally and externally for a given project
• Produce and/or update customer system documentation
• Perform trouble shooting of technical issues encountered during a project
• Participate in internal and external project meetings
Support related tasks:
• Resolving Incidents and Service Requests reported by customers according to Service Level Agreement
• Maintaining a good relationship with the customers
• Performing software updates and upgrades
• Keeping required customer and installation information up to date
• Performance and health reviews of deployed systems
We want you to:
• Have minimum ten years experience from Configuration and Support in Wireless and Fixed Telecommunication and IT
• Have earned a university degree in Computer science, telecommunication and/or other relevant educational background
• Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours and able to travel
• Know how to deal with internal and external customers, and that you have very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to support your colleagues as well as asking for their support when needed
• Be a great team player with a positive attitude and open and willing to learn and develop
From a technical perspective, we believe that you have advanced skills in the all the following areas:
• Telecom: Broad and deep knowledge of GSM, WCDMA and IMS areas including hands on experience with following Ericsson nodes: SBG, MTAS, CSCF, HLR, FNR, MSC, BSC, RBS2409, RBS6601, SIU.
• Data and telephony protocols. The more you know about these protocols, the better. Minimum required: SCCP, MAP, BICC, ISUP, CAMEL, SIP, Diameter, SCTP, FTP, SSH, DSCP, DNS, SNMP, NTP
• Experience from telecom installations

• Keen interest in the business of a company
• Good social and interpersonal skills
• We also expect you to be fluent in Swedish, English, both written and oral and Russian is an advantage.
