You will be a Subject Matter Expert in several aspects of our operational products, infrastructure, environments and configuration, serving as an adviser to other internal stakeholders in projects and programs as well as mentoring support specialists. This position will be responsible for the daily and long-term support and services to our operational customers.
You most likely have a Bachelors or Master's degree within (or close to) the field of computer science. You have 6+ years of experience in a similar or software development role.

You are skilled at programming (preferably Python and/or Java) but don't want to write code every day.
You enjoy a variety of challenges of a highly technical nature.
You take ownerships of issues and work well both independently and within a team.
You like to take a break from technical matters from time to time in order to enjoy some social interaction!
You have expert knowledge of Unix and/or Linux and shell scripting.
You have experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Distributed version control systems such as mercurial, git
• Customer relationships
• Messaging systems such as MQ, ActiveMQ, Qpid
• Databases (Oracle preferred)
• Univa Grid Engine
• Kerberos
• JBoss
