About the job
This interesting senior specialist position for Sustainability is both strategic and tactical, with a focus on internal as well as external stakeholders. Sustainability is an area of continues development and focus for the organization. Your key focus will be to support the organization with expertise knowledge within the area of sustainability with the focus on external reporting. You will also secure and educate the business to make sure the reporting of the sustainability progress to external stakeholders is according to regulations and standards. This will of course be done by monitoring and analysing external emerging trends and reporting in sustainability to ensure compliance with existing and upcoming regulations.
In order to create a truly integrated sustainability agenda, you need to network and partner up with all relevant parts of the organization.
Reporting to the VP Group Sustainability, the Senior Sustainability Specialist will be based in Lund.
Key responsibilities
* Monitor and evaluate relevance existing, new, and emerging sustainability regulations, standards and guidelines, such as the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, TCFD disclosures, and others.
* Ensure that reports and disclosures are compliant with current and upcoming regulation, including SEC Climate Change Disclosures, ISSB, EU ESRS, others.
* Responsible for consolidation, analysis, and preparation of the external reports, including the annual sustainability report, CDP, TCFD, and others.
* Responsible for the consolidation, reconciliation, and preparation of annual, monthly, and quarterly reports as required along with supporting note disclosures.
* Support the submission to external rankings and ratings.
* Work to ensure compliance with existing and future reporting regulations and collaborate with departments to drive and establish process improvements and finding synergies in the current reporting process.
* Translate regulations into a clearly articulated, actionable plan with key deliverables that are accurately measured and reported upon.
* Provide guidance on the company responses to questions or statements of positions on sustainability related matters, including industry surveys, customer questionnaires and other relevant questionnaires.
* Contribute to the development of sustainability trainings.
Who You are
We are looking for someone that has a relevant academic background at Masters' level with sustainability as an integrated part. It is out of essence that you have a minimum of 5 years' experience of an expertise role within sustainability.
You have a good understanding of trends and disclosure expectations related to sustainability and the ability to plan for evolving expectations and you have gained this by your experience in leading external sustainability disclosures, including for annual reports/sustainability reports, CDP, TCFD, others.
Your English is excellent in both verbal and written and you behold an analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex issues in a structured and logical way. We value that you can engage with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple business areas and have a collaborative mindset.
