Senior statistician
Are you interested in becoming part of the statistics group at Statistikkonsulterna Jostat & Mr Sample AB? We are now looking for a Senior statistican for assignments with start as soon as possible
Scope
• Study design input including samples size
considerations and content input into Clinical
Investigation Plan (i.e. protocol)
• Consult in database build
• Driver of Statistical Analysis Plan definition
• Ensure proper output format from clinical study
raw data collection
• Consult on tables, figures, and listings definition
• Input in clean file work and preparation for
analyses
• Perform and/or drive statistical analyses
• Statistical input to Clinical Investigation Report
• General statistical consulting and provide
internal training
Setting
• Work in close collaboration with the Clinical
Affairs team, at our customer in Sweden
currently consisting of 7-9 clinical projects
managers (in Sweden, UK, US) and 2 data
managers.
• Work in close collaboration with external
preferred vendors (e.g. electronic data capture
systems/databases and/or Contract Research
Organisations).
Requirements:
• Creative and pragmatic ways of thinking
• Solution oriented mind-set
• Ability to express statistical considerations in
laymen terms
• Strong sense of ownership of statistical input
and delivery of output data
• Good collaboration, communication and
influencing skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Statisticians: Master degree in Statistics,
preferable with a strong mathematical
foundation
Experience
• Preferable medical device trials or small
businesses
• Wide scope of different type of trials from
experimental/pilot, register studies, cross-
sectional studies, observational studies,
interventional studies (traditional randomized
controlled trials) etc.
• Confirmed delivery and hands-on experience
from statistical analyses of clinical data
• Ability and experience of managing analyses
software/s (e.g. SAS, SPSS, StatXact or similar)
