KIT digital Content Solutions is now recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer, to become an integral part of the engineering team. This position will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. Applicant should be interested participating in building the business and operations on a long-term basis.
Role Description
• Contribute to the design of the overall solutions architecture
• Define and create engineering plans to realize various product sets within solutions architecture
• Engineer new systems and enhance current systems
• Liaise and work with 3rd party development engineers
• Keep documented evidence of systems being engineered
• Resolve system related incidents
• Provide technical training to in-house, partner and client technical resources
Qualifications
Required skills:
• C# and C++ MFC
• SOAP/.NET
• Workflow methodology.
• Multi-threading and parallel computing
• XML parsing and generation
Preferred skills:
• Knowledge and experience in video production and/or video processing and distribution (e.g. AviSynth, ffmpeg and other open source tools)
• Experience in working with distributed teams with team members in different countries
• Experience and knowledge of high availability systems
• Experience in multi-language platforms and internationalization
• Experience in agile development methodology
• Experience in DAM system architecture (Digital Asset Management)
• Experience in setting up continuous integration systems
Personal skills:
• Self-motivated
• Co-operative approach
• 4 years experience from similar and relevant positions
• Experience from a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines
• Fluency in English and preferably Swedish.
• Applicant should have a relevant engineering degree
