By integrating product data with AI enrichment and domain knowledge and utilizing Azure's SaaS and PaaS solutions along with OpenAI's technology, they aim to provide a service that prioritizes the application of knowledge over its retrieval.
Role description:
SKF is seeking a Software Engineer to join a dedicated team in developing and maintaining the AI-driven solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building a robust data infrastructure that supports semantic search services and the creation of virtual assistants. This involves close collaboration with product teams, leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio for copilot creation, designing Azure AI Search indexes, implementing custom OpenAI Chat and Assistant solutions, and ensuring an exceptional developer experience for the API consumers.
Your responsibilities and day to day tasks:
• Collaborate with the teams to design and implement a comprehensive data infrastructure.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly known as Power Virtual Agents) for virtual assistant development.
• Develop and maintain Azure AI Search indexes and integrations.
• Create custom implementations of OpenAI Chat and Assistant.
• Package products as APIs, managing and enhancing the developer experience.
• Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception through deployment and maintenance.
SKF expects you to have/be:
• A degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with C#, Python, and TypeScript.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure.
• Experience with Azure AI Search (Cognitive Search), OpenAI GPT Models
• Well versed in creating and maintaning CI/CD piplines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns, specifically event-driven design.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly known as Power Virtual Agents) is required.
• A good understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
• Self-driven and ease at dealing with ambiguity in work situations
• Fluency in English
• Strong in communication & collaboration
• Experience from agile development process
Length of assignment: No end date -> longer term scope
Location: Gothenburg
Hybrid: Hybrid possible
Reason for recruitment/ consultant need: The competence does not exist inside SKF today. Generative AI is a new development area where they have limited competence and resource.
