What we offer
We are passionate in developing technology that enables Volvo Car Group to fulfil its aggressive targets to be the leader in the areas of Vehicle Dynamics. Now we are looking for a dedicated Senior Software Developer of Active Body Control who will lead a team that already develops the main functions of the Active Body Control using MATLAB/Simulink Model-based development tools. This is an exciting opportunity as in the next step the Wheel Suspension Team plans to develop embedded software to be able to develop the full software stack in-house and we want you to lead us the way during this phase.
What you will do
As a Senior Software Developer you will mainly work with software development, integration, testing and configuring of the AUTOSAR kernel together with our external resources. You will be part of an agile team where the external supplier is one part. The team will be responsible of developing the software functions, solving the issues that are found and for the testing of the software that is released. We believe you need leader capabilities and a passion for leading a cross-functional team in an international environment together with global suppliers. You will have to build and maintain a network with expertise across the company to secure correct status in the many aspects of a car environment.
* Develop an embedded system for the wheel suspension mechatronic systems based on AUTOSAR technology, bootloader technology
* Develop software in C and C++, as well as scripting in MATLAB (and bash)
* Develop Software Download and Diagnostic in the AUTOSAR core
* Support in the process of creating Test Use Cases
* Project tracking, version control and support ticket system
Do you fit the profile
* Knowledge of AUTOSAR
* Experience in embedded software platform products
* Preferred experience from system engineering, software or hardware design within the automotive sector
* Great interest in cars and new technology
* Experience of ISO26262 or other system safety standard.
