Job Description
Objectives
The Senior SME-PLM & CAD Operations PLM Solutions is tasked to implement and operate solutions for the Global PLM, supporting our Product and Global Operation teams and processes. The Senior SME-PLM & CAD Operations, is expected to lead/participate in a series of projects or programs, utilizing either existing internal IT skills or externals where appropriate.
The candidate should be able to deliver to the needs of Global PLM PMO by...
• Have IT capacity and skills to deliver and maintain Cax/PLM solutions in a professional manner
• Have business process understanding and experience
• Be able to deliver through the use of and interaction with the various other Electrolux IT teams and Business user community.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to be able to:
§ Manage and support a global PLM user community.
§ Have seniority and drive issues to completion in a complex environment-
§ Support the drive for commonality in IT to enable common data and common processes across Electrolux
Tasks include:
o Manage solution implementation and support from beginning to end
o Issue management and operations together with other IT teams to secure user satisfaction.
o Being one of the key members of defining and implementing the Electrolux future strategy for Industrie 4.0/Digital Operations.
o Proactively manage changes in project and implemented solutions, identify potential crises, and advise contingency plans.
o Influence and motivate the organization by being a solid change lead and solution expert.
Competences needed:
The successful candidate should have a combined set of business process knowledge and IT insight, and
o Worked in implementing and manage complex IT solutions on sector level across multiple site or countries.
o Broad and clear understanding of functionality for PDM and CAD/CAE applications.
o A background from IT, R&D, and/or Manufacturing related business roles, ensuring understanding of these processes.
o Preferably a degree in Engineering or IT
The role requires significant multi-tasking, and conceptual thinking to solve ambiguous problems. Candidates also need to apply substantial depth of knowledge/experience to drive change, and will be comfortable acting in a role of senior change agent.
Additional requirements include:
• Experience of implementing and mantain IT solutions, preferably in complex global organizations
• Experience in Teamcenter and Catia. Other CAx solutions is a bonus.
• Clear understanding of the importance of Master Data and how to manage it
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to work through others, and accomplish set goals without formal organization
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Team player
• Open to new concepts and ideas
• Ability to work collaboratively across project teams and organizations
• Position requires some traveling.
