The Senior Regional Sales Manager Europe for HemoCue is responsible for driving sales initiatives through a team of three sales reps based in different countries in Europe.
This position is part of the sales department located in Sweden or Denmark and will be hybrid. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of the International Sales team and report to the Senior Director International Sales who is overall responsible for sales outside of US. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive top-line through coordination, training and allocation of sales force and distributors
Lead and develop the team of 3 Regional Sales Managers in an engaging and collaborative manner, building a high-performing and trusting team
Establish coherent and state-of-the art sales strategy and tactics for the region, taking into account competitive intelligence
Optimize the sales channel setup to support the regional needs and allocate resources to regional priorities
Working collaboratively across functions including marketing, and customer service to manage sales resource demands
Ensure the development of pre-launch sales plans for all new products within the planning horizon
Monitor competitor activities and increasing market share through effective selling to the BB, Hosp, PC and other segments

The essential requirements of the job include:
B. Sc. in relevant field (could be biomedical, technical or commercial angle)
Fluent in verbal and written English
At least 5 years experience with sales of medical devices or diagnostic products
Proven experience in developing innovative sales strategies and experience of managing both direct sales force and channel routes to market
Proven experience in managing a big region with several different countries
Results driven, proactive and a systematic, problem-solving oriented way of thinking
Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid business acumen, experience in profit and loss management and growth achievements
