For our Material Characterization team in Västberga, we are now looking for a Senior R&D Engineer who finds motivation in the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and be part of developing world class cutting tool materials.
Key performance areas
In this position, you are responsible for our new Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), supporting the organization with analyses and knowledge in the area of advanced microscopy, and contributing to our product development. You collaborate with research teams, perform new analyses and measurements and actively participate in materials development projects. You are accountable for the maintenance and functionality of our high-end TEM, FIB-SEM and unique equipment for sample preparation.
International travel may occur.
We are looking for someone with a PhD or equal competence in materials science, physics or chemistry. You have at least seven years ' experience from working with TEM analysis, broad materials knowledge and, preferably, also good understanding of cemented carbides. As we act in the global arena, your communication skills in English are excellent, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
