The Q&W ACE team is responsible for setting the strategic roadmap for analytics methods as well as providing expert data analytics and support to the business within the quality and warranty area. We work closely with colleagues within Product Quality, Project Quality & Safety and Supplier Warranty Recovery at Quality & Customer Satisfaction, but we also support other engineering functions in quality and warranty matters across GTT globally.
We can offer you to play a key role in supporting business and leading the development of advanced analytics to ensure world class customer satisfaction and quality performance. In this position you will belong to a global GTT team, joining colleagues who share your passion for analytics.
Main activities and responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst you are already expert problem solver who works with advanced analytics in the quality area. Your analytics expertise derives equally from your data driven problem solving skills, from you deep product and domain expertise within Volvo Group, and from within the quality and warranty area.
You will be responsible for providing Q&CS teams and the wider GTT quality community with advanced analytics support. You will also be 2nd line support for a number of quality engineering teams, supporting them with training in tools, problem solving methods and with direct feedback in their problem solving tasks. In parallel with line support, you will work with the rest of the ACE team in strategic projects (both research and organizational development). You will be part in all phases of problem solving, from business understanding, data understanding, data structuring, data modeling, and giving recommendations to engineers and management teams.
You will support the solving of urgent quality issues with advanced analytics and make GTT quality and warranty processes and teams better by develop the tools, methods & routines they need to perform their job.

Who are you?
You are a seasoned quality professional with a talent for data driven problem solving. You have a positive drive with a demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate cross functional projects, keeping a business mind and customer orientation.
As Senior Data Analyst you have an open mindset, seeing opportunities in new ways of analyzing and visualizing data, and you have the ability to adapt your communication to stakeholder needs.
Previous background working with Data Analytics within Volvo, as well as deep product and domain expertise within Volvo and within the quality and/or warranty area is a strong merit.
Required experiences and education:*B.Sc. of Science or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Appl. mathematics or Computer Sc.
• 3 years' experience in data analytics tools. SAS Tools is a strong merit
• 5 years' experience from engineering, aftermarket and/or quality and warranty area within Volvo
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
