hela Sverige Do you thrive in leading a team towards next practice?RISE SICS Västerås and the strategic innovation program PiiA, Process industrial IT and Automation, is looking for a full-time project manager with knowledge and experience from driving successful research and development projects in collaboration with industry. You will work in a highly dynamic environment with different teams and in a wide range of application areas ranging from data analytics, optimization and deep learning via software development and testing to user experience and innovation. It is important that you have a genuine passion for project management, working with people and know the keys to success. Projects will be performed in close cooperation with Swedish industry, public sector and international research partners. Within the PiiA program you will have the opportunity to work strategically with creating and developing new projects and partnerships strengthening the Swedish process industry.In this role you willDrive and manage research projects within PiiA and RISE that lead the way for future process industry and other partnersBe part of a creative team that conducts applied research in close collaboration with the public sector and industrial partners, often a mix of all!Understand industry's need of using data and new technologies as a new way to do businessDiscuss research projects using relevant methods in different phases, including application writingAdvocate research findings to diverse audiences through best suitable communication meansMinimum qualifications5+ years experience of industrial research and/or developmentHave experience from managing research and science driven projects with many partnersBe fluent in Swedish and EnglishSkilled in presenting and documenting your workCurious, goal-oriented, flexible, ambitious and communicativePreferred qualificationsLic or PhD degree in relevant areaExperience from working in the process industry or with its suppliersExperience in writing applications for research fundingThis is a full time permanent employment with placement at RISE SICS in Västerås.
