Start Date: February 1st
Duration: Consulting assignment for 1 year, with significant potential for extension or direct employment with the client.
Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
* Lead the execution of medium to large and moderately complex customer projects.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, and financial targets.
* Establish the project execution approach, oversee hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities.
* Work closely with the project team and stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
* Be responsible for the successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on time, within budget, and meeting the quality & safety framework of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project execution, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.
* Negotiate with suppliers and customer representatives.
* Handle deviations/claims.
* Establish project execution approach.
* Oversee project hand-over, planning, monitoring, and control activities.
Requirements:
* Senior Project Manager or PMP® Certified Senior Project Manager or IPMA Level B/C certification.
* Ability to work with projects of different size, complexity, and contractual types.
* Ability to propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects.
* Experience in project management, ideally with complex projects.
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering with domain experience in the energy business, or another technical degree with 10-15 years of relevant work experience.
* Fluent in English; Swedish not mandatory but highly desirable.
