Consumer Board Innovation and R&D develops solutions and businesses based on renewable materials for consumer packaging applications. Within the Consumer Board Innovation and R&D organization the Material development unit is responsible for the development of new materials for packaging applications with special focus on cellulose-based renewable materials. The team also produces demonstrators and packaging prototypes of the developed materials in its potential field of applications. Projects are launched within the whole scope of developing and introducing new material and solutions to the market. Members in the team are working in or managing projects in close contact with our customers and suppliers. The team is also a key contact point for external R&D providers in the operational field of the team.
To the Material development unit, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Business Development with proven experience of bringing new products and technologies to the market.
Description
Within a team of technology and production experts you will be responsible for the primary customer contacts, lead generation and go to market pipeline of new renewable solutions for the consumer packaging market as well as conduct techno-economic feasibility studies together with your colleagues. The results of your work with existing and new customers will be commercialization of R&D results into sustained businesses.
Traveling will be a natural part of your work. The position offers a good opportunity to further develop your skills and network while working in the research frontier of cellulose-based materials.
Qualifications
You have a Master of science (civilingenjör) or equivalent. Additional education within business or technology is considered a merit, so is also experience from the pulp and paper or polymer industry. You have at least 7 years of work experience including management of business development projects introducing new products and technologies to the market.
You have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and can build and maintain long term customer relations with proven ability to transform these relations into businesses. Further, you have a good ability to work in matrix organizations and you can market and communicate project results. Good communication skills in English is a requirement.
