Development & Service Operations Packaging Material (DSO PM) is strengthening the project management organisation by setting up a new programme structure. As part of the change we seek a senior project manager.
The role of DSO Packaging Material is to drive the development of packaging material, Tetra Pak's most important product. We are in an exciting journey with high delivery focus to support our role as market leaders by offering our customers high quality, and innovative packaging material products.
The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast moving, cross-functional and international environment. You will be leading innovative, exciting development projects with many opportunities for personal growth and career development.
We are looking for an experienced project manager who enjoys challenges, is agile and delivery focused.
Main responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of cross-functional and global deployable development projects.
• Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, changes, risks and issues
• Continuously develop and recommend appropriate strategies and prioritisations for achieving expected business need.
• In close collaboration with stakeholders agree on project scope, requirements and deliverables.
• Understand and manage inter-dependencies between technology, supply chain and customer needs
• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Provide continuous and effective communication with all stakeholders and to our most senior governance forums
• Required networking cross-organisational to secure alignment of all project activities including building external partnerships when applicable.
Qualifications
You are an experienced project manager with a proven track record from complex development projects in a production environment, combined with a strong business understanding. The professional skills needed in this role are strong leadership and the ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organisation. You are a self-motivated person with strong drive for results. You pay strong attention to details, balanced with the ability to see the projects in a larger context. You enjoy taking on changes.
You have an Engineering background or equivalent and you have minimum 5 years of documented and qualified project management experience, preferably PMP certified. It is beneficial with former experience from Global manufacturing industry and application of agile methodologies e.g. Scrum.
Written and verbal English skills are essential.
