I am searching for candidate that has experience working as a Senior Project Manager and wants to joing Valmet in Göteborg. This is a consultant assigment for one year to start with.
About the position
Within EMEA service, Valmet is mainly focusing on upgrades and services of power boilers and recovery boilers. The project values are normally between 0,2 and 5 M Euro. As Project Manager you will manage service and upgrade projects as well as Service agreements to help our clients shape a more sustainable world.
Responsibilities
You manage projects according to contracts with the help of assigned project teams, are responsible for project budget, handling change orders with the customer and be involved in purchasing of equipment, subcontracting and manufacturing. Within Service agreements you maintain a yearly schedule for services provided to customer according to contract as well as maintaining a dialogue for development of plant.
As Senior Project Manager you also support the sales team during the sales phase in larger projects. Reviewing project budget, proposed contract and participate in meetings with customer during final negotiations.
Your profile
• > 5 years experience in industrial project execution; preferable as Project Manager or similar position.
• Experience from rebuild projects within pulp, power or process industry
• Solid knowledge in contract management.
• Team leader skills
• Master/Bachelor of Science or equivalent acquired competence
• Speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English
