We are now recruiting for a Senior Product Developer to join our ORS R&D team.

As the Senior Product Developer in the Life Cycle and Development Support team, you will develop new and improve existing product assortment based on customer insight and product knowledge. You will identify, develop and implement improvements for existing assortment as well realize concept ideas into new products. Also you will execute development and commercialization activities to bring solutions to market. This position will be a key player to ensure a safe, efficient and competitive product assortment that meet the customer expectations and business growth goals.
In this position you will partner with R&D team members and internal as well as external partners to identify and develop enabling technologies and processes to support the development projects.

Your role and key accountabilities:
Drive and execute complex product design activities with business impact,
Lead and drive projects with limited complexity and to be accountable to deliver in assigned design control roles.
Generate product ideas and drive initiatives related to grow and enhance the business value focusing on the existing assortment.
Identify, suggest and drive continuous improvements of processes, work instructions and ways of working to assure efficiency.
Using knowledge and experience to coach and mentor colleagues
Develop technical documentation and perform activities and in accordance to applicable Quality Management System roles related to product development.
Collaborate within a cross functional environment and build a personal network within the organisation

Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor/Master degree or similar level within life science, engineering or other relevant area or corresponding work experience
2 years of overall experience in medical device
Experience working with process improvements and/or development of way or working
Knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices i.e. ISO 13485, applicable parts of MDR regulation, CRF 820.30, Design Control, Change control
Experience working in PLM environment

Deep technical knowledge in assigned medical device area
Deep knowledge in assigned product area
Assigned business area knowledge and general business acumen
Communication Skills with internal or external stakeholders at different levels of business.
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical devices.
Fluent English written and spoken
