To be based in Malmö, Sweden, Straumann is seeking for a Senior Process Specialist to be scientifically responsible for the major processes of the Production Processes within Biora.
Major responsibilities will include:
Scientifically responsible for the manufacturing processes at Biora
Support the production team in process related areas, such as process monitoring, deviation investigations, "trouble-shooting"
Identification and implementation of improvements in the manufacturing processes
Management of process development projects in accordance with approved and anchored timelines and resource plans
Leading process validations and major investigations
Securing the long term development of existing and new products and processes
Responsible for design transfer, tech transfer, scale up and validation of products and processes developed by R & D
Leading, performing and reporting laboratory work (e.g. in connection to process and product development activities and investigations)
The Person
This is a Senior Management role within the Straumann Group and therefore demands the scientific knowledge, experience, professional expertise and enthusiasm from an experienced Process specialist whose credentials closely match the following parameters:
Education / Professional Experience
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in Process Optimization and Development
Minimum 5 years in an international pharmaceutical or medical device environment
Experience in project management
Knowledge in protein chemistry and biotechnology processes is an advantage
Personal / Competencies
Ability to work in an international matrix organisation and to implement corporate standards in the plant. Working collaboratively across functional and geographic boundaries in order to meet customer, organizational and corporate goals
Team player with open, positive attitude, respect for others, high level of integrity and commitment
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must
Distinct customer orientation both internally and externally
Dynamic and self-motivated person, comfortable working under pressure with changing priorities
