What you'll do
As Senior Maintenance Manager, you are the balancing factor in provide guidance and focus on the continuous improvements of the maintenance process. You will lead the overall strategic and technical maintenance work at plant level and work with implementation across all Torslanda plants.
In your role you will identify the challenges maintenance are facing, at an operational- as well as a strategic level. You will analyze and solve performance gaps and strives for continuous improvement. You will demonstrate maintenance activities in a broader perspective to demonstrate that these activities are in line with the company mission, vision, strategy, and targets. You provide guidance and delegating tasks among the maintenance teams, ensure we are working towards targets and set goals. In your role, you will also develop and evaluate the local maintenance outsourcing strategy.
You and your profile
We are looking for a committed and inspiring manager who is enthusiastic about the combination between strategic and operational maintenance aspects.
We believe you have a master's degree within Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and/or solid experience from value driven maintenance. You have the ability to drive change and take the plant strategically and technically to the next level with your extensive leadership experience.
To be successful in this role, you have high ability in leading end developing employees and team according to aspire Lean Leadership. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Additionally, you have knowledge about relevant processes within Volvo Cars, or another greater company with an extensive maintenance organization. Meritorious is if you have competence in Volvo Cars Manufacturing System (VSMS).
On a personal level, you enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to improve and do things better. You are a driven and result oriented person with the ability to break down and solve problems with great humility and persuasiveness. You establish trust-based relationships to better serve the organization and taking on challenges with a holistic approach.
