Location: Vasteras, Sweden
Linxon is a growing company within the substation business, owned by SNC Lavalin and Hitachi Energy. Our work is project based and we deliver turnkey substations connected to the electricity grid. We are now searching for a Team leader within Time planning, to strengthen our team!
Job description
In this role, you will be a key asset within the project teams as well as within the team of time planners. Your main goal is to ensure high quality time schedules within projects and tenders.
As a team leader you will be the interface between the time planners and the project and tender teams, having an overall responsibility for that the time schedule is created and updated according to the contract, defined milestones, overall progress, client requirements and internal guidelines. Within this role, you will ensure that the time schedule will act as a support and quality control for the project and tender teams during the planning and execution.
You and the team will be given the possibility to develop and influence our internal set of standards, guidelines and work procedures within time planning for projects and tenders.
Profile
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We believe you are driven, prestige less and quality minded.
You have a few years demonstrable knowledge/experience of successful project delivery of complex projects with multiple interfaces, as well as experience of creating baseline, analyzing activities, critical path, float, and identifying relationships between activities.
You possess a competent level on Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and have experience of working with Excel and to calculate progress with S-curves in Excel. Within this role, you will also review and integrate time schedules from subcontractors into the main time schedule for the project.
Within the team, there are resources allocated abroad, and thus, it is important that you like working in an international context, and communicating in Swedish and English orally and in writing.
You have a college degree within a relevant area, or equivalent work experience.
It is desirable to have experience working within the power generation industry, and experience working in a role with overall responsibility and/or as a team leader within time planning.
Location
In this position, you will be positioned in the Linxon Västerås office. We also have a brilliant smarter working policy, too. That means many of our office-based people and some of our site-based people are able to work from home up to two days a week, as part of our hybrid model.
