The role
As a Performance Engineer at Kindred, you work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure the quality of releases and to build a high-availability, resilient infrastructure. You will be solving problems, small and large, together with your team or even on your own. We believe in continuously improving and releasing small and often. We build for the future and strive to automate as much as possible. As a Kindred employee, we offer you an international working environment with great people and minds across several different locations across the globe.

Kindred is an equal opportunities employer committed to employing a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture. As such, we oppose all forms of discrimination in the workplace. We create equal opportunities for all our applicants and will treat people equally regardless of and not limited to, gender, age, disability, race, or sexual orientation. We are committed not only to our legal obligations but also to the positive promotion that equal opportunities bring to our operations as set out in our sustainability framework. Kindred has an ESG rating of AAA by MCSI.

What you will be doing
With support from commercial, open source and in-house tools you will analyse and troubleshoot services and infrastructure to continuously improve the quality and performance of every release. You will configure, deploy and tune services for testing, analyze test results as well as perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to the issues you bring to light. You will be part of the CAP team (Performance and Capacity) where we are always proactive about potential performance issues - and always happy to help.

About you
Apart from great communication skills and a background in agile environments, you have hands-on experience in analysing performance testing results and troubleshooting issues.
