The Senior Network Engineer is highly experienced in large scale network design and operation with knowledge in e-gaming solutions.
Key responsibilities
• Network monitoring and surveillance solution.
• Operate and manage network environments within department remit not handled by 3rd party.
• Patch Management of network infrastructure within department remit not handled by 3rd party. Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of network topology.
• Maintain accurate and up to date information in CMDB regarding network equipment.
• Lifecycle Management of network infrastructure Design, development, test and implementation of network infrastructure.
• Handling of incoming Service requests, Incidents, Change requests and Problems within department remit and escalated Incidents, Change requests and Problems from 3rd party/ partner / automation.
• Managing consultants and temporary resources assigned a mission within the area of responsibility.
• Project estimates, -evaluations and -quality assurance in the area of network.
• Follow market trends within the area in order to secure efficiency in both operational environment and cost.
Knowledge requirements
• At least 5 years' of experience in design, development and operation of transaction intensive data network.
• Experience and knowledge of network protocols such as BGP, RIP and OSPF.
• Experienced in working with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, F5 and Clavister.
• Fluent in written as well as spoken English
Educational requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
