What are your responsibilities?
As Senior Mechanical Order Installation Engineer, you have the overall responsibility for planning, installation, and following up the installation as well as layout ordering projects regarding our gas turbine deliveries. With a wide network of contacts within the organization, you work in close cooperation with project managers, system engineers, production, purchasing and subcontractors. Always with the target of keeping schedule and budget within your area of responsibility, and coordinating as part of the complete project.
You work in 3D CAD (mainly NX and PDMS) and produce technical purchasing specifications for piping and components, as well as platform-, and steel structures. You assist the purchasing department during the procurement phase, by defining the procurement documentation. In the end of the process you support the assembly and deployment personnel in the final delivery. You conduct, review and update investigations and documentation in your field of technology, and address deviations, risks and opportunities.

You have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships, mainly within the organization. By coordinating resources and setting up goals, you are realistic in your ways of planning ahead. When your original plan needs changing you maintain your dedication and positivity and continue to work focused on the new way forward. You communicate in a straightforward way, and you are able to adapt to your counterpart. You are aware of your strengths and weaknesses and know when to ask for help. In short, a pragmatic, results-oriented engineer who can withstand and thrive when the prerequisites for delivery change, and can see both the excitement and the possibilities in this.
We value personal potential, but in order to succeed in the role you need:
• Minimum Technical high school diploma.
• Minimum 5 (five) years relevant working experience.
• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience working with 3D CAD tools, such as Catia v4 / 5, PDMS, NX.
• Work experience from which you can show that you have planned, led and followed up your own area of responsibility, and done this successfully.
• Work experience of reviewing other people's work, documentation, and models.
• Be able to express yourself fluently in speech and writing in English.
It is desirable but not a requirement if you have a university degree with mechanical engineering or similar. Likewise, it is desirable but not a requirement if you can express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
