hela Sverige The Industrial IT department (TEI) is responsible for the management of the IT portfolio within Production & Logistics (P&L) and to develop IT strategies aligned with the P&L global business strategies. The department also have the responsibility for automation and control system architecture as well as the tools for the digital factory.
We are now entering a period of increased focus on industrial digitalization and we look for the successor of our present manager who is moving on to senior advisor tasks.
Do you want to lead work to create the smart factory of the future?
Your main task as a senior manager is to contribute to the continuous industrial digitalization within P&L. You should drive and encourage the P&L organization in the right digital mind set. Thus you will be a member of several committees, both within P&L, Volkswagen Trucks and Busses and other external networks. You will be responsible for the P&L IT and automation strategy to be aligned with P&L global business strategy. Furthermore you will have a group of 20 devoted and experienced coworkers reporting to you.
You will report to the head of Global Industrial Development (TE), vice president Lars-Henrik Jörnving and be a member of the TE management team.
Your work task and duties
Be the driving force to take P&L towards top excellence within digitalization and to challenge the traditional methods and systems.
Be an active speaking partner in changes of IT solutions and be a stakeholder from P&L's side.
Work closely together with Scania's IT department as a partner as well as client.
be responsible for the P&L IT and automation strategy to be aligned with P&L global business strategy
be in the driver's seat when it comes to industrial digitalization and be a member of the digital officer network within Scania
be responsible for P&L IT budget and forecast

Do you have this background?
You have worked with business driven IT-changes in large projects for at least 10 years.
You have documented leader skills and you have been working as a manager or as a senior project manager for at least 5 years.
You have a proven record of using the leverage of new techniques
Knowledge within production and assembly line is an advantage
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge in German language is an advantage.
You have a university degree or equivalent.
Is this you?
As a person you are structured, organized and have extensive communication skills. Furthermore, you are open-minded and receptive to new influences and ideas. You are also service-minded and available for the organization to deal with many different questions. You like share your opinions internally as well as externally.
You have an extensive network within as well as outside Scania dealing with all aspects of digitalization and Industrial IT.

This a permanent employment and is located in Södertälje. Business travels will occur monthly.
