Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are now strengthening our Group Operations with a Senior Manager for Facilities Management. The purpose of Real Estate & Facilities Management (REFM) within Getinge Group is to provide attractive, cost efficient and flexible Real Estate & Facilities Management services by leveraging scale and group synergies. There are three focus areas within REFM; Space Management, Portfolio & Asset Management and Facilities Management. The position offers you a unique opportunity to participate in, and contribute to, the development and future success of REFM and Group Operations. You will have a great amount of own responsibility and you will interface with a wide variety of stakeholders inside and outside the organization in a global fast-paced leading medical technology company with high ambitions!

The position
In this position you will be responsible for developing and adapting the Facilities management (FM) processes and concepts. You will lead projects and support development on central, regional and local levels. You will work with the harmonization of the FM-delivery across sites in order to ensure attractive, cost-efficient and flexible services.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Develop and adapt Group-wide FM strategy, processes and concepts
• Plan and execute on delivery strategy, including sourcing, internal transformation and service operations
• Identify & utilize synergies across sites, regions and Business units
• Optimize service delivery across sites and regions with regards to cost, flexibility and user satisfaction
• Support adaptations of the concepts to fit local requirements
• Ensure compliance with Group wide REFM policies & concepts
• Develop and maintain good relations with internal customers and suppliers including coordination of regular business reviews
• Plan and execute FM-projects, such as sourcing, service optimization, scope adaptations, etc.
• Coordinate cooperation between sites (processes, service delivery, suppliers, projects and costs)
• To negotiate and sign service delivery agreements with suppliers of Facilities Management services
The position is preferably based at Getinge Group headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden (but for the right candidate other major Getinge site may be considered). The Senior Manager, Group Facilities Management will report to the Global Category Leader, REFM and should expect to have a great deal of interaction with people on all levels and functions within the company. Since the scope of work will be global as well as regional, domestic and international travel is required and estimated to 15-30%.
The ideal candidate
The person we are looking for is working with facilities management today and has solid knowledge of the global Facilities Management market. You have a proven track record from driving change projects within Facilities Management. You are used to work with both internal clients as well as suppliers. Having great stakeholder management skills is crucial for this position.
Some of your key characteristics include:
• Minimum experience of 5-10 years leading outsourcing projects, FM transformation and development projects in an international context
• Knowledge of FM processes and supplier relationship management
• Experience from working in, or closely with, the FM industry is favorable
• Relevant academic education, such as a degree in finance, business, law or engineering
• Fluency in English is required and proficiency in French and German is favorable
As a person you are a results-driven self-starter with strong communication and influencing skills. Being able to communicate efficiently with different stakeholders, internally as well as externally, is important in order to succeed in the role. You are good at creating sustainable customer and supplier relationships. Further, you have a strategic and analytical mind-set as well as a high level of business acumen. An ability to handle challenges and work under new conditions in a changing environment are also key factors for this position.
