hela Sverige The Corporate Audit function at AB Volvo consists of approximately 40 auditors located at Volvo sites around the world.
Corporate Audit is accountable to the CEO, Executive Vice President Corporate Legal & Compliance and the Audit Committee of the Volvo Group and shall provide independent assessment of systems managing risk and the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control activities within the Volvo Group.
The Internal Auditors work together in all Volvo Group companies and organizational units with financial, operational and compliance audits, and are also involved in consulting projects. As a member of the global Corporate Audit team you will gain a thorough understanding of the businesses, processes and management of the Volvo Group.
We are now looking for a:
Senior Manager Corporate Audit Office
Corporate Audit Office (CAO) supports the SVP and Head of Corporate Audit in development and monitoring of the global Corporate Audit department. CAO is responsible to drive and implement measures towards the long-term strategy, overall monitoring of Volvo Group risk assessment- and audit plan processes, Executive Management and Audit Committee reporting as well as development and co-ordination of Corporate Audit methodology for quality work.
The position has the following responsibilities:
Support the Head of Corporate Audit Office in development and monitoring of the CAO function, by pro-actively drive measures and process development activities towards the Corporate Audit operative vision.
• Overall governance and monitoring of Corporate Audit?s risk assessment- and Audit Plan activities and processes
• Active involvement and contribution to risk assessment and Audit Plan for the Volvo Group
• Monitoring and preparation of material to Executive Management, Audit Committee and Corporate Audit Management meetings
• Managing audits of Corporate functions
• Initiate and perform external benchmark studies
• Be updated on relevant areas covering Volvo Group strategy, enterprise risk management, organisation and processes
• Interact with the global Corporate Audit network on different matters related to the CAO activities
• Perform ad-hoc analyses within the area of responsibility

Qualifications:
• Master of Business Administration/Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Extensive successful experience in the field of Internal audit and/or External audit
• CIA certification and up to date knowledge of auditing standards and techniques are highly desirable
• Business and process oriented person with clear holistic view, strong analytical skills and lateral thinking
• High integrity, professional judgement and team player with an ability to build and maintain good working relationships with management in different parts of the organization as well as with team members in different Corporate Audit regions.
• Pro-active approach, ability to form new ways of working and with a desire of extended learning
• Experience from leading people is an advantage
• Good communication-, presentation- and multicultural skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
