As our Business Operations Manager you will play a key role in ensuring that we retain our position as a world-class software development company. This will include evaluating key processes and best practices across Jeppesen as well as our parent company, Boeing and the software industry.
You'll need to demonstrate a relentless pursuit of excellence and a strong desire to never settle for second best. You will be continuously searching for ways to improve and initiating change efforts where appropriate. As a leader we?ll expect you to drive some of these change efforts yourself. The Business Operations Manager is a member of the software development leadership team. Here you will work together with the managers responsible for our software teams and release management. You should be prepared to challenge them as well as yourself on a daily basis.
Initially you will build and then manage a small, focused team. This team will be responsible for ensuring alignment of key processes and practices with Jeppesen and Boeing standards as well as overseeing and coordinating KPI reporting to multiple stakeholders.
You have a strong passion for software development and delivering value to customers. This is a senior position and therefore you bring along with you at least eight years of project or program management experience, preferably from scaled agile projects or other large-scale projects. You have worked with Agile and LEAN methodologies and have experience in driving change projects. In addition, you preferably have at least two or more years of line management experience. You are strong-minded, goal-oriented and like to challenge status quo. You will chart the course, set high expectations, inspire others, find a way and deliver results.
