Legal & Integrity is the ABB legal department in Sweden and principally acts as an in-house counsel system, which means each lawyer has two or more ABB operating units as clients. In principal, the in-house counsel deals with all legal matters related to business activities. We have specialist expertise in areas such as Public Procurement, Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law.

We are hiring a senior legal counsel to the Legal & Integrity function, which is part Legal & Contracts function of PGGI in Västerås. We are looking for a senior legal counsel with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, who wants to take the next step in his/her development.

The Legal & Integrity function assists Swedish ABB units with legal issues connected to their business in Sweden and all over the globe. The work will contain great variety. You can expect exciting challenges that cover a broad spectrum of legal issues.

The position requires you to be be truly experienced in EPC type contracts and knowledgeable on FIDIC and OF NOC 3 forms, consortium agreement license agreements. Former experience in heavy industry, electrical & mechanical industry, oil and gas is a real plus. If you want to work as a Legal Counsel at ABB you need a Swedish or foreign law degree. We believe that you have at least 10 years relevant experience.

You are communicative and have the ability to express yourself well in English. Other language skills are qualifying. On a personal level, you are a team player who appreciates working close to your co-workers in an international environment but who is also willing to take leadership when required. At the same time, you do not hesitate to work on your own and you are a problem solver by nature who enjoys coming up with creative solutions.
