hela Sverige Kort beskrivning av företaget: The position is placed at the Institute of Medicine, Section of Social Medicine and Epidemiology. The Section is responsible for the bachelor- and master programs in Public Health Sciences, the master program in Global Health and teaching in Social Medicine and Community Pharmacy. The research is focussed at health related life style factor and life course perspective and the importance of social structures and factors for health and illness. The Section for Social Medicine and Epidemiology is a cross professional and cross disciplinary environment. We combine good student centered education with a good academic work environment.
www.epso.gu.se Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: Public Health Science cancerns population health at local, national and international levels. Factors contributing to the development ofhealth in society such as poverty, social inequalities, gender, ethnicity and life style are focussed. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: The position include teaching and being responsible for courses including planning, organising and administrating courses in team with other teachers mainly in bachelor and masters program in public and global health. Teaching at courses other than those one is responsible for is part of the work. Furthermore common tasks in the program, contacts with student, development work and collaboration with relevant actors within and outside academia are part of the work. Interprofessional learning between different programs and teaching at the bachelor level at other programs in the Sahlgrenska Academy can be included as well.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY: PhD degree in a relevant discipline and proven pedagogical skills. ASSESSMENT: In the first place pedagogical competence. In the second place scientific competence. Administrative competence and ability to collaborate will be taken into consideration. Experience of teaching in relevant topic is a merit and in particular experience and competence in global health and health promotion. Pedagogical education for university teaching is a merit. Experience of cross-sectional qualitative and epidemiologic studies from low- and middle income countries is in particular a merit.
