Like.tv is a totally new groundbreaking application that gives the users a more exiting TV experience with our second screen solution. Like.tv is a part of MTGx - a new venture within MTG. Our mission to become no 1 in digital entertainment. We will help consumers get closer to the entertainment experiences they love the most through innovative cross media creations.
Beskrivning av tjänsten
As a JavaScript developer at Like.tv you are responsible for working on our main product. You will join the small and rapidly growing team facing many interesting and fun challenges. You are mostly focused on frontend web development, but you can also manage working in backend. You must have strong communication skills and be able to take initiatives and work independently. You are not afraid to tackle something you have not done before and are able to bring it to production level quickly. We are looking for senior engineers that have a burning passion for writing world-class fast and well-designed web applications!
This is a unique opportunity to join an early product and shape as well as grow with the company and its products.
Vem är du?
Need to have:
• Solid knowledge in prototype based programming languages.
• Experience working with full stack JavaScript applications using Node.js.
• Have experience from at least one frontend MVC framework like backbone, angular, ember or knockout.
• Experience with JavaScript based testing frameworks like Vows,
• At least basic knowledge of MongoDB or CouchDB or other NoSQL data stores.
• Good knowledge of both the HTTP and TCP protocol.
• Experience with working with REST Api's
Nice to have:
• Experience with working in high availability, large scale applications is highly valued.
• Having worked in an agile work environment using Scrum or Kanban is also highly valued.
