The Base Station System design R&D department focuses on pre-development and innovative ideas for next generation BTS for the Radio Access Networks. The work is mainly in the form of pre-studies and/or technology studies. The Sweden R&D centre is a global Massive MIMO and multi-antenna BTS competence centre. We are offering a challenging position and the opportunity to grow with us in a small team with very competent staff
Responsibilities will cover the following:
Provide legal opinions in pre-filing review meetings regarding inventions made in Sweden/European R&D centers
Review work of Sweden/European patent service vendors
Perform or control drafting and prosecution of patent applications originated from Sweden/European R&D
Provide training and guidance to patent engineers from other countries regarding patent practice in Europe
Optionally, review and revise patent applications and finalize amendments based on proposals by patent engineers located in other countries, providing on-job training to patent engineers of other countries
Take responsibility or provide support in opposition cases
Requirements & Qualifications
Master?s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, physics, mechanical engineering or other related subject
Admission before EPO as European Patent Attorney is considered a plus
Professional experience in the IPR team of an international company or Patent Law Firm
Fluency in English (written and spoken),
Excellent intercultural communication and coordination skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and independent working style
Strong analytical thinking
Hands-on and can-do attitude
