Position description
Are you looking for new challenges and want to work with one of our automotive customers in Gothenburg?
Responsibility:
• Develop solutions cross functional to given specification, Time- Technical- Cost contract.
• Packaging of components towards surrounding environment and for defining requirements on surrounding systems / components that are necessary to make the design work as intended.
• Technical documents are available at the right level and right time plan according to project plan and that they are fulfilling or customers standard and synchronized with SW releases
• Structure regarding instrument in production specification system is correct and fulfils requirements in Team Center.
• Contribute to the creation of Technical regulations and other primary documents.
• Together with Task manager responsible that FMEA is performed on system- and component level. Assure that decided risk-areas are taken care of.
• Contribute in developing the need of analysis and verification within the task and also the planning of the task, in order to assure that all activities which are necessary for the engineering work are included in the time plan of the task.
• Verify the solution and recommend changes of the design regarding technology, quality, service, environment, market adaptation and rationalization.
• Coordinate meetings with supplier and meetings with other affected departments to ensure cross functional participation.
• In cooperation with the Task manager carry out Design review.
• Take part of Geometry and final assurance of fulfilment of requirements.
• Contribute to the build-up of experience, by participating in developing of technology strategy within the area of competence.
Deliveries:
• Contribute to Engineering requirements to supplier
• Connector database
• Deliver Test Reports
• Primary and Complementary document.
• Deliver 3D models for virtual verification and development of prototype tools/material for physical verification, including production approval.
• Deliver 3D/2D models for manufacturing of production parts.
• Develop and document parts structure.
• Contribute to secure functional models and sections.
Skills & Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience working with electrical HW within automotive industry, preferable with displays and/or cluster. Experience in working with cross functional team and with suppliers.
• Self-driven and proactive when planning tasks. Used to report status to project leader and act on given tasks.
• Knowledge within FMEA, DV/PV-testing, PPAP process and manufacturing needs are necessary. Responsible for DPR.
• Fluent in English and Swedish language.
• Swedish driver licence B.
