hela Sverige We are looking for Hardware Engineer for our Next-generation infotainment systems.
You will be a key contributor to the next generation customer premium cars. Vehicle Infotainment systems contain a growing set of functionality, including entertainment, speech, navigation, connectivity/connected applications, driver information and vehicle functions, etc. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles.
As we move into the future, the infotainment system transforms into a virtualized super System on Chip connected to the car via a standard backbone and to displays; center display, cluster display, heads-up windshield projection, etc., via high bandwidth display links.
As a Vehicle Infotainment systems senior hardware engineer you are part of a cross-functional agile team; including program managers, software function/system designers, and hardware experts. You will be responsible for securing the quality of the products by leading design reviews, support quality & certification continuous development, discuss with experts, set up test plans, judge test results, work with design pre-requisites / design specifications and follow up with suppliers. Deep dives into the electronic and mechanical aspects of the Infotainment system hardware are also part of the assignment. You will work closely with suppliers and be part of an international team to secure development of Infotainment systems hardware
Some travel outside Sweden may be required in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Infotainment system hardware development in the area of infotainment platform and base concept requirements
• Coordinate with development partners, in-house development, and validation activities
• Analyze and judge test results based on a set of requirements
• Specify requirements for a range of categories relevant for the infotainment system
• Assisting other departments with tasks related to the infotainment system
Requirements:
• University degree in embedded electronics hardware or electronics hardware design and experience of working with development within these areas
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the car industry or consumer market HW development
• Required previous experience in with more communication industry - 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth NFS, phone mirroring technologies etc
• Understanding of high-speed digital design and power supplies
• Basic knowledge of wireless technologies
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Experience of FMEA, DV/PV test, ISO-TS

Work location is Gothenburg but there will be frequent travels between skåne and Gothenburg regions.
