implement our global Facility Real Estate Management (FREM) category.
We are looking for a Senior Global Category Manager focused on the area of Facility Management to strengthen our Global Indirect Material and Services team (IMS). The Global IMS team is responsible for category-and supplier base strategy and to drive end-to-end strategic sourcing for Marketing and Communications, Human Resources and Professional Services, Maintenance / Repair / Operations (MRO) and Facility Management. This is done in close cooperation with our Business Stakeholders as well as our Cluster organisations.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden, but other locations could be optional.
You will lead a team of three. The position reports to Global Director Supplier Management
Main responsibilities
• Lead global FREM category
• Business partnering with FREM function
• Support transformation and implementation of Integrated Facility Management (IFM)
• Drive consolidation of all FREM not covered by IFM
• Drive change and transform FREM procurement into work class
• Lead team of category managers and managing multiple stakeholders globally
• Ensures involvement and alignment of relevant stakeholders on a global level, understands business needs and requirements
Qualifications
You can create understanding and buy in from different stakeholders and collaborate with other functions comes natural for you.
You have a successful track record in managing and motivating people.
You use your excellent communications and networking skills to manage relations in a co-operative, effective and successful manner.
Drive for result will be required in this role, combined with project management experience. The skill to transform strategic perspective into operational activities and consciously drive improvements will also be highly valued.
We believe that you have university degree in Business Administration or Engineering. You have at least 8 years of experience in senior project or line function with focus on general management, purchasing or finance with good knowledge of the Supplier Management process.
You have been driving centralization and consolidation into an IFM set-up or extensive experience from working in an IFM setup.
Familiar with ARIBA and know how to get the outmost of it.
An excellent command of English, both written and oral is required.
