hela Sverige Swiss-based u-blox (SIX:UBXN) is a leading provider of wireless and positioning semiconductors and modules for the automotive, industrial and consumer markets. We are currently seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our team in Malmö.
The Senior Embedded Software Engineer develops/maintains software for the short range radio modules (mainly WLAN and Bluetooth) and evaluation kits and verifies their proper functionality and performance according to specification. Furthermore, it also includes writing technical documents as well as to develop/maintain different software tools associated with the products.
Tasks:
• UML design
• Software development in C for embedded, real-time systems
• Software development in C# for tools and tests
• Project planning and management
• Technical Documentation (English language)
• Provide input for and review data sheets, user guides and release notes
• Coordinate and manage external partners: EMS, design houses, lead customers, etc.
• Support module qualification
• Analyze parts that are returned by customers
• Support specification of new products
Requirements:
• MSc or BSc in engineering with a focus on software development
• Expert in C programming of embedded, real-time systems
• Experience in C# programming is an advantage
• GIT and/or SVN version control
• UML design
• Good Swedish and English skills
• Holder of a valid Swedish work permit
• Accustomed to work independently and accurately
• Comfortable with working closely with partners, customers and suppliers
• Wireless knowledge in general and Bluetooth and/or WLAN knowledge in particular is an advantage
• Knowledge about GCC, embedded debuggers (e.g. Lauterbach, ST-Link), MS Visual Studio is an advantage
