hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Sfdc Sweden AB i Stockholm The Senior Corporate Counsel or experienced Corporate Counsel will play a key role in supporting the growth of Salesforce's public sector business across EMEA. The focus of the role will be:
Acting as a primary point of contact for the Global Public Sector (GPS) team for public sector business within the EMEA region.
To proactively connect with local public sector teams (whether reporting into GPS or regionally) to identify all public sector opportunities and drive discussions around prioritisation and support, as required. This includes opportunities which may not be classified as core public sector within Salesforce, but nonetheless may fall within a public procurement process or otherwise touch public sector related legal issues (for example, with deregulated but state-owned companies).
To coordinate and align with local Commercial Legal team members, Privacy Legal, Government Affairs, Global Ethics & Integrity, Alliances Legal and other stakeholders to plan resourcing and to prioritise.
To consolidate the legal advice obtained to-date on local public sector contracting requirements and common practice, and work with other legal stakeholders to consolidate knowledge on privacy, security and compliance requirements.
To identify any gaps in such legal knowledge and to coordinate obtaining external counsel advice as required.
Working with other legal and GA stakeholders, to develop the process for monitoring and engaging in legal and regulatory developments across the various EMEA jurisdictions in which we sell or target selling to public sector.
To work with the Global Ethics team in implementing appropriate compliance programs and developing training as required.
To develop appropriate knowledge and best practices with local public sector sales teams, in particular to ensure we can support, at scale, non-standard processes and resourcing required for the pre-contract and post-contract stages.
To support the structuring and negotiation of legal negotiations (reseller, MSA, professional services etc), typically working with a local Commercial Legal counsel and Alliance Legal (for reseller-based negotiations).
Partner with revenue recognition, sales operations, technology operations, and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
Partner with the sales team and other internal business constituents throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure customer success and protection of company interests.
Advising senior management on best practices for public sector transactions as well as regulatory requirements.
The role will be an individual contributor role, though may in the longer term expand to managing more junior resources. However, the role will require leadership of a virtual team of Commercial Legal lawyers supporting public sector deals.
The role will report to the SVP Commercial Legal (EMEA), and be based within one of the established legal hubs in the EMEA region.
