hela Sverige DescriptionFunctioning as the senior finance representative on one of Shiloh's Product Line Teams (PLT), the Senior Controller is responsible for leading the development of all budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in addition to working with other PLT leaders to develop the long term strategic direction of the business unit. The Senior Controller will manage all finance activities, processes and policies within PLT plant locations regionally and will report directly to Director of Controlling & Finance Europe. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Planning & analysisWork with PLT leadership to evaluate strategic alternatives for the business, including long range business planning processLead the development of budgets and financial reporting for the PLT including annual budget, mid year forecasts, and weekly flash updatesMonthly review of overall PLT financials including all individual site financialsAnalyze variances to budget or forecasts and partner with the business to deliver on expectations ControllingDrive profitable new business growth by ensuring accurate financial data is used in the pricing and quote development processImprove product line and customer profitabilityAnalyze cost structures across the PLT to support driving to best in class goalDrive working capital / cash efficiency across the PLTSupport PLT tooling and capital appropriation requests with accurate financial models to ensure alignment with standard Shiloh payback methodologyResponsible for plant monthly accounting close, including timely and accurate presentation of results (P&L, balance sheet, account reconciliations, etc.) ComplianceAligning to Shiloh processes, guidelines and best-practices; developing new techniques leading to broad adoption within the group and companyEnsure all internal/SOX controls are adopted, followed and appropriately documented by all functional areas within the plant Leading and developing the financial teamRequirements Education and/or ExperienceMinimum a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Finance and/or Controlling with a minimum of 10 years related work experienceMBA with finance concentration strongly preferredPast experience in a controller role strongly preferredExperience with multi-plant manufacturing company, preferably automotive relatedMust have ability to speak and clearly communicate in both Swedish and English language on a professional level Skills and Abilities General understanding of GAAP, accounting and ERP systems, SOX and other audit requirementsSolid working knowledge of Microsoft productsAdvanced user in ExcelAbility to prepare advanced PowerPoint presentationsAbility to speak in front of groups and ability to make professional verbal and written presentations to senior managementAbility to travel within Europe and/or Sweden from time to time Additional CompetenciesSolid analytical skills, including ability to analyze complex problems and recommend strategic ideas and alternatives to improve efficiency in our processes and profitability of businessPersonable, as the PLT Manager must have the ability to work closely with plant personnel, peer group in the PLT, and senior leadershipDeadline driven, ability to work within tight schedulesWe offerCareer in an international companyOpportunity to take part in international projectsSalary adequate to your competencies If you are interested in this position, please apply in English.
