In markets where we operate Financial Services finance about one third of Scania's sales. Over 700 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 100.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 55 bn SEK of assets.
Scania Financial Services decided to set up a compliance function at the head office given the speed, complexity and ever-changing regulatory requirements in the financial services industry. The central compliance function was set up in 2014 and will after recruitment consist of 3 people. The goal is to enhance the overall risk and compliance culture in the organization by sharing of best practices for continues improvements. You will be joining a global team situated in Södertälje. Certain level of international travel is expected for this position.
Job description
The main purpose of the role is to provide support and guidance to key staff at the SFS head office in regards to regulatory compliance. The compliance analyst will work closely with the Vice Presidents and support/assist them in their board of director responsibilities.
Your principle duties include:
• On-going analysis of global regulatory watch/outlook (primarily in Europe)
• Identify compliance issues which significantly impact business operations
• Identify key compliance risks at Business Units
• Provide compliance guidance and support to the Vice Presidents
• Provide support/assistance to local compliance managers
• Inform and provide training to head office staff concerning new or amended regulatory frameworks
• Participate and share knowledge in the global compliance network
• Conduct ad-hoc activities based on request from the head office
• Be a driver for good compliance culture within the organization
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal integrity, is driven and self-motivated, takes own initiatives and possesses excellent communication skills. You have a university degree in finance or similar and have relevant experience working with compliance related issues from the asset financing or leasing industry.
Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
