Within ÅF Automotive R&D, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM's, startup companies and system suppliers (Tier 1). We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
We now look for a Senior CAE engineer within Vehicle NVH, with main focus on structural analysis. In the department CAE & Safety, you will be part of the team that performs FEM, MBD and CFD analysis to develop the performance and attributes of vehicles and systems of the future. We work mainly in inhouse projects for global customers, where we deliver complete solutions including both design solutions and analysis.
To further develop your skills you get the possibility to grow our inhouse competence within NVH analysis and lead the work for other team members. You will join a global team where you also get the possibility to work in other areas of the world as resident engineer at our customers, if that would be interesting for you. Who are you?
You are a brave and devoted team player with extensive knowledge in NVH CAE analysis. You have the experience and competence to build trimmed body models and complete vehicle models for NVH analysis. You also know how to perform and evaluate the most common loadcases used to predict the NVH performance of a vehicle. You have several years of experience from working in vehicle projects, communicating with attribute leaders, design engineers etc, in order to improve the NVH performance. You use tools like Nastran or Optistruct on a daily basis and can teach others through experience. No challenge is too great and your mindset is always adding value to our customers. You believe the best vehicle regarding NVH performance is not yet developed, as it will be part of your next assignment at ÅF Automotive R&D. You are the engineer that makes a difference. Your academic background is a Master degree from applied mechanics, applied physics, structural engineering or similar. Very important is your extensive experience in and understanding of how to develop a vehicle with good NVH performance. You may have previously been working at a global OEM or Tier 1, but is now looking for a new challenging career path. Your business English is fluent both verbally and in writing and you communicate easily with both peers and upper management. Being professional is key and you always act upon the best interest of the company. You are within the business known for your strong integrity and you share ÅF's view on ethics and values.
