The Indirect Purchasing - Marketing & Sales provides specific Purchasing competence to Marketing at Volvo Car Group. Our role is to mainly serve and challenge Stakeholders, Central Marketing department and the National Sales Companies, within Volvo Car Group with different sourcing activities, supplier- market- and spend analysis, contract management as well as governance towards our current and potential suppliers.
What you will do
Senior Buyer Expert - Social Media will develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies, execute and support market-, supplier- and spend analysis to be on top of the Marketing area.
You will prepare and effectuate Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) and be the Volvo Cars focal point and lead commercial and contractual negotiations with local and global suppliers.
You will assume global supplier responsibility for selected suppliers within the area and drive contract management and supplier governance together in collaboration with stakeholders
You are expected to find value opportunities and drive the initiatives forward
Do you fit the profile?
For this position you need to have University degree or equivalent professional experience in the relevant area, professional senior experience in Purchasing
You have professional negotiation skill, commercial and contractual track record for global services, solid understanding and interest in the legal aspects in agreements.
You are fluent in English, written and spoken
Experience within Media is a big plus.
On a personal level
To succeed in this role you need to be self-motivated, professional and have integrity. You are a true team player - gives and asks for support - and like to work with agile work methods concerning planning and execution of work tasks.
Since you have many contacts with different stakeholders, it is important that you have good communications skills. You should be business and performance driven and have a positive mind-set. Lastly, you have an analytical and creative personality and love to use this in your daily tasks.
