• Perform sourcing and negotiations in close collaboration with Program and Commodity Managers
• Managing your suppliers to fulfill their responsibilities according to the contract
• Lead cost saving activities
• Support in developing and implementing strategies
• Participate in NPI and technology development projects
• Manage performance for your suppliers including NPI, cost reductions and supplier relations.
• Position will have direct influence to program and business results through proper selection of sources and the ability to analyze, negotiate and secure fulfillment of agreements
Working in a commodity, you will be part of a team with colleagues from other sites within GKN Aerospace and look into finding strategies and collaborations across the sites
The working environment is international, with majority of the current suppliers located in Europe and USA.

Formal qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor degree in engineering and/or economics
• Very good English skills both oral and written
• Knowledge of aerospace products and technologies is preferable
• 3-5 years experience from Commercial assignment
